The day started off with an angry wake up call and cursing the neighbours for using tools at an ungodly hour - 7am. Turns out it was actually 9:20, which ended up being a good wake up call as we had plenty of work to get to and didn't mean to sleep in #jetlag #cantwin

While one of us tinkered with the inverter, removed seat belts, and drilled holes to run wires, the other spent countless hours taping off the hood (bonnet) to then spray-paint our tracking map. Guess who did what.

Of course, it's England, thus there is always liquid sunshine. This proved a little difficult with the spray painting and the progress was slow, wet, and cold.

I continued to work on the map most of the day while Justin ran (walked, everything is walking distance in this quaint town <3 ) errands. He got a new gas (petrol) cap, some needed tools, mattress hunting, air filters, spark plugs, and more spray paint.

Probably a good thing he went to change the spark plugs considering 2 of them disintegrated as they were being removed.

It was a short day in terms of progress and excitement, I spent the latter part of the day making Thai coconut chicken curry while he braved the rain and continued working on the car. Figured I'd enjoy the luxury of a kitchen while I still can.

Side note: we were both sick as dogs and are so thankful we grabbed the most disgusting thing known to mankind: oil of oregano. What usually haunts us for at least a week, if not two, is all gone after just 2 days. It's pure witchcraft.

Another side note: we found our theme song (that's not moose moose moose moose). Stay tuned!

When in doubt, drill it out.
